Camping at Eleven Mile Reservoir near Manitou Springs Colorado.
(07/29-07/31/05)
Due to the rainy spell we had before going  camping I had to set my tent up in the frontroom to be sure it was still okay for use. .
We got to our destination really late and set up camp in the dark.  This was our view of the reservoir in the morning.
Indian Paintbrush
Bacon is one of those  things I love to smell first thing in the morning.  It takes me back to camping trips with my dad when I was a  kid!
The chipmunks were always looking for handouts!
I was almost quick enough to get this squirrel's picture.
Some of the rugged terrain around the reservoirt.  Many areas were really green from  more moisture than usuall.
We were able to have a fire at our campsite in the fire pit.  The burning coals are always fascinating to watch.
The daytime temps were pleasant and the evening were chilly.  We had a  nice sunset both evenings.
